Ok, this is not really a movie about camping, but it is our favorite movie, we couldn’t not put it. The film is based on the true story of Christopher McCandless. The protagonist, decides to abandon the vices and comforts of society to embark on a journey to Alaska in search of freedom and a new connection with nature. Along the way, Chris faces challenges that severely test his physical and mental resilience. Into the Wild offers a powerful cinematic experience that will lead you to reflect on your life and the meaning of existence.

2. Heavyweights (1995)

Big laughs at Camp Hope! Ben Stiller’s comic skills shine as he attempts to turn a sympathetic camp for overweight boys into a military-style boot camp. This lighthearted and humorous film is suitable for the entire family.

3. Moonrise Kingdom (2012)

This Wes Anderson film is ment to become a classic. Eccentric characters, tents, tree houses, beautiful natural coastal and country views, all wrapped up and made unforgettable by the director’s unmistakable touch.
Moonrise Kingdom chronicles the romantic escape of two youngsters, Sam and Suzy, who decide to run away together. As their parents, the police and a scout troop try to track them down, the two boys go on a tender adventure that explores themes of love, growing up and youthful rebellion.

4. Nomadland (2020)

Oscar-winning masterpiece. The story is about Fern, a widow navigating the U.S. West in her van, seeking comfort and new meaning in life. This film beautifully captures the essence of transience, mourning and the search for new lifestyles to find happiness.

5. Stand by me (1986)

The story tells the story of four young friends who embark on a journey to find the body of a missing boy in the forests of Oregon. “Stand By Me” stands as a coming-of-age masterpiece, offering a compelling testament to the enchantment of camping.
