Everything you need to know about Maremma Regional Park
It is one of the most interesting destinations you can visit in the Maremma Grossetana. The oldest natural park in Tuscany covers 18000 hectares and preserves some of the most beautiful and intact areas of the Maremma coastline. But we can’t just talk about the sea, the Mediterranean scrub and the holm oak and pine forests are the perfect habitat for so many animal and plant species that can only be found in this area now. The park can be visited (ticket required) in diverse ways: by canoe, on foot, by bicycle on horseback, or even by carriage!
Watch this video produced by the park authority, it will leave you speechless!
