In 2025 Easter will fall in the penultimate week of April, just a few days before from Liberation Day (April 25) and Labor Day (May 1). If you are still undecided on where to go, here is our proposal for your outdoor vacation in the Tuscan Maremma.
The estate covers 270 hectares, 175 of which are planted with vineyards cultivated mainly with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The beautifully designed and modern winery was built underground for the most part, using natural materials and taking advantage of the thermoregulation of rocks deep in the soil. The historic Le Mortelle winery is located a few kilometers from Castiglione della Pescaia and can be reached by bike (about 40 minutes) or by camper or car (about 20 minutes) from the La Pampa Parking Area.
• The winery is open daily, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with wine shop, guided tours and tastings.
• Kitchen opens for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays with an “à la carte” menu, other days of the week with a simpler offering. The kitchen is closed on Tuesdays.

Castiglione della Pescaia, is an ancient fishing village of medieval origin close to the sea. The village is dominated by the Aldobrandesca fortress, which houses an interesting archaeological museum. From the fortress, the breathtaking view sweeps from the Gulf of Follonica to the islands of the Tuscan archipelago.
The Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve is a vast wetland brimming with rushes and reeds, home to a rich array of bird species, including the striking pink flamingos. From the La Pampa parking area, both the charming village and the reserve are easily accessible via a bike path located just a few hundred meters from the rest area.
