Breakfast at La Pampa Bar (remember to order fresh croissants the day before!). Short bike tour (9 km) along the bike path through the pine forest to Castiglione della Pescaia, a fishing village of medieval origin and a favorite destination of writer Italo Calvino. If you haven’t gorged yourself at lunch with pappardelle with hare sauce in one of the restaurants the village offers, for the return ride we suggest you pass through the Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve, a large lacuste area characterized by rushes and reeds, among which you can spot numerous varieties of birds including pink flamingos!

Light lunch in Castiglione:
– Micro Pizza
Excellent pizzeria by the slice located in the historic center, quality and low prices!
🗺️ Address: Corso della Libertà, 11, 58043 Castiglione della Pescaia GR

DAY THREE – Camper visit to Saturnia Hot Springs

We start with a swim in the Saturnia Mill Falls, water flows at 37.5 degrees ideal for a sunset dive! If you are adventurous just above the falls you can dive into the Gorello Stream, the stream that feeds the Falls, a small and very picturesque waterway nestled among thick reeds and wild nature.

How to get to the hot springs:
Starting from La Pampa Parking Area & Camp, pass Grosseto and continue for 60 km on SP159.

Services:
In the vicinity of Saturnia Hot Springs there are not many services, so we suggest you refuel for a snack and buy water along the way.

Where to eat:
For a typical lunch or dinner we recommend Il Capriccio, just 4 km from the spa. Better if you book in advance!
